Job Description



Thompson Technologies is seeking talented and dedicated IT Support Professionals who can support the IT user community for a premier client in Menlo Park.  We have 2 openings, and these positions support the IT needs of the organization to ensure that it delivers timely, professional, and effective IT support to all of the employees. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, and a commitment to end-user satisfaction and continuous process improvement.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of IT support experience with proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and mobile device issues
  • Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain Microsoft Windows (7, 8, 10) and Apple OSX / macOS on end user devices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe and related software packages
  • Experience with mobile device management (AirWatch, Good) and Active Directory user administration and Exchange mailbox creation
  • Experience with imaging and disk partitioning solutions (SCCM, Acronis, R-Drive)
  • Experience resolving basic network issues (i.e. DNS, DHCP) and corporate antivirus solutions (Trend Micro, Symantec Endpoint Protection, McAfee)
